Exhibition booth arm light manufacturers

When selecting exhibition booth arm lights, prioritize LED efficiency and Color Rendering Index (CRI). A CRI of 90+ is essential to ensure that the products on display appear vibrant and true-to-life. Additionally, check the lumen output (typically 1500-3000lm) and color temperature (5600K-6000K for daylight effect) to ensure the booth is bright enough to attract visitors. The arm length (usually 40cm to 60cm) should be compatible with your booth structure to provide optimal light coverage without creating glare.

Compliance is non-negotiable for electrical products. Ensure the lights carry CE, RoHS, and LVD certifications for the European market, or UL/ETL certification for North America. Since these are used in public spaces, verify that the housing is made of flame-retardant materials and that the heat dissipation system (aluminum heat sinks) is efficient enough to prevent overheating during long exhibition hours.

The mounting bracket is a common failure point. Look for universal clamps or 'C' clamps that can fit various panel thicknesses (typically 15mm to 50mm). The arm should be constructed from anodized aluminum or reinforced steel to prevent sagging over time. For high-end displays, choose models with adjustable heads (360-degree rotation) to allow for precise light positioning.

To maximize versatility, source lights with wide-voltage drivers (AC 85-265V). This ensures the lights function correctly in different countries without needing transformers. Furthermore, confirm the plug type (EU, US, UK, or AU) and ensure the power cord length is at least 2.5 to 3 meters to reach floor sockets easily.

Lighting products are fragile. Require the supplier to use double-walled corrugated export cartons and custom-fit EPE foam packaging for each unit. For bulk orders, palletization with shrink wrap is mandatory to prevent crushing. You should also request a drop test report from the supplier before the goods leave the factory.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts (1-2% extra drivers or LED chips) to be included in the shipment, as these are the most likely components to fail. If ordering in volume, ask for custom branding (OEM) on the light head, which is often provided for free at MOQs of 500 units or more.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone third-party verification by SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Use Secured Trading Services to ensure that payment is only released to the supplier once you have confirmed the shipment. Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify that the quantity and quality match the Proforma Invoice.

For urgent exhibition deadlines, use Air Freight or Express (DHL/FedEx), but be aware of volumetric weight charges due to the long arms of the lights. For sea freight, ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to help you benefit from potential Free Trade Agreement (FTA) tariff reductions. Always confirm the HS Code (typically 940542) with your customs broker to avoid classification delays.
