Geely oil filter price manufacturers

You must verify the filtration efficiency (micron rating), typically requiring a 99% efficiency at 20-30 microns to ensure engine protection. Ensure the filter uses high-quality synthetic or cellulose media and features a silicone anti-drainback valve to prevent dry starts. For Geely-specific models, confirm the thread size (e.g., M20 x 1.5) and gasket diameter match the OEM specifications exactly to prevent leakage.

Prioritize suppliers who hold IATF 16949:2016 certification, which is the global quality management standard for the automotive industry. Additionally, look for ISO 4548-12 testing reports which validate the filter's ability to handle high pressure and flow rates. For products entering the EU or US markets, ensure compliance with REACH or SAE J806 standards respectively.

The price is primarily driven by order volume (MOQ), filter media quality, and housing material thickness. Bulk prices for aftermarket Geely filters typically range from $0.50 to $2.50 USD per unit. Choosing long-life (10,000+ miles) synthetic media will increase the unit cost but offers higher margins for premium retail segments. Always request a breakdown of raw material costs if the price fluctuates significantly.

Genuine OEM filters will feature Geely branding and specific part numbers (e.g., 1016050400) with holographic security labels. OES (Original Equipment Supplier) parts are made by the same factory but branded differently. When sourcing from Made-in-China.com, look for 'Gold Members' who provide factory audit reports and can demonstrate they are part of the Geely supply chain or produce to equivalent OE specifications.

The biggest risks are counterfeit branding and substandard internal components (like thin bypass springs). To mitigate this, use Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com and hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a 'destructive test' on random samples from the production line to verify internal build quality.

Focus on Annual Purchase Volume (APV) rather than single-order quantity to secure lower pricing. Negotiate for OEM/ODM packaging included in the price to build your own brand equity. Request payment terms of 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to protect your cash flow and ensure the goods are shipped before final payment.

Oil filters are relatively heavy and dense, making Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) the most economical method. Ensure the supplier provides the correct HS Code (typically 8421230000) for oil filters to avoid customs delays. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that may apply to automotive parts in certain regions, and ensure all Certificates of Origin are provided to leverage free trade agreements.

Check the supplier's 'Audit Reports' which are conducted by independent third parties. Look for the 'Verified Supplier' badge and review their transaction history and response rate. A reliable supplier should be able to provide physical samples within 7-10 days and offer a warranty period of at least 12 months on their products.
