Groundnut sorting machine manufacturers

B2B buyers should prioritize CCD Optical Color Sorting technology, which uses high-resolution cameras to detect color defects, moldy nuts, and foreign materials. For higher precision, look for machines equipped with NIR (Near-Infrared) sensors to identify internal defects like aflatoxin-contaminated kernels that are not visible to the naked eye. Additionally, ensure the machine features intelligent AI algorithms that can be trained to recognize specific groundnut varieties and shapes.

Focus on the ejector system quality; high-frequency solenoid valves should have a service life of over 10 billion cycles to ensure long-term accuracy. The chute design is also critical—U-shaped chutes help stabilize the flow of groundnuts, reducing the breakage rate to below 0.5%. Furthermore, check the throughput capacity, typically measured in tons per hour (t/h), to ensure it aligns with your processing line's requirements.

Since groundnuts are food products, the sorting machine must meet CE certification for safety and ISO 9001 for quality management. More importantly, the parts in contact with the food must be made of food-grade stainless steel (SUS304) and comply with FDA or LFGB standards to prevent contamination. Ensure the equipment supports HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols within your production facility.

A versatile machine should offer multi-stage sorting capabilities, allowing for simultaneous sorting by color, size, and shape. Look for software that allows for customizable sorting modes and easy switching between different groundnut types (e.g., in-shell vs. blanched kernels) via a user-friendly PLC touchscreen interface.

Always prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party institutions like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Review their Audit Reports specifically for 'Production Capacity' and 'Quality Control.' It is highly recommended to use the Star Buyer program or check for Diamond Member status to ensure you are dealing with established manufacturers rather than small trading intermediaries.

For large industrial equipment, utilize Secured Trading services provided by the platform to protect your funds. A standard payment structure is 30% T/T as a deposit and 70% after a successful pre-shipment inspection. Avoid paying the full balance until you have received a video of the machine running your specific samples or a third-party inspection report (e.g., from TÜV).

Ensure the contract specifies seaworthy packaging, typically involving vacuum plastic wrapping and reinforced wooden crates (fumigated) to prevent rust and mechanical damage during sea transit. Clarify the Incoterms; while FOB (Free On Board) is common, CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) may be easier for buyers new to international logistics. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed operation manual and circuit diagrams in English for customs and installation.

Confirm the availability of remote technical support via video call and the provision of a one-year warranty on core components (like the CCD sensor and motherboard). Negotiate for a wear-parts kit (extra ejectors, glass plates, and filters) to be included in the initial shipment to minimize downtime, as international shipping for small spare parts can be costly and slow.
