Headties manufacturers

For the African market (e.g., Gele), prioritize 100% cotton metallic jacquard or polyester-based stiff fabrics that hold shape. For sports or fashion headbands, look for moisture-wicking spandex blends or OEKO-TEX certified silk/satin to prevent hair breakage. Ensure the fabric weight (GSM) is specified to balance durability with breathability.

Request a Level 4 colorfastness test report (ISO 105-C06) to ensure dyes do not bleed onto skin or clothing. For printed headties, verify Azo-free dye compliance. Conduct a stretch recovery test for elastic versions; the material should return to its original shape after 500+ stretches without losing tension.

In the US, products must comply with CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act), especially regarding lead content in dyes and small parts (like beads). For the EU, REACH regulation compliance is essential to ensure no harmful chemicals are present. Always ask for a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) from the manufacturer.

Focus on custom weaving patterns (Jacquard), digital sublimation printing for vibrant designs, and private labeling (woven tags). High-end suppliers on Made-in-China.com often offer custom packaging like branded PVC bags or eco-friendly cardboard headers, which are crucial for retail readiness.

Implement a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party. Use the AQL 2.5/4.0 standard to check for weaving defects, oil stains, and size deviations. Never release the final 70% payment until the inspection report is approved and the Bill of Lading (B/L) is verified.

Since headties are lightweight but can be bulky (especially stiff Gele fabrics), use Sea Freight (LCL) for orders over 2 CBM to minimize costs. For smaller trial orders, Air Express (DDP) is faster, but ensure the supplier uses vacuum compression packaging to reduce the volumetric weight and save on freight charges.

Discuss a blanket purchase order where you commit to a yearly volume in exchange for a fixed unit price, protecting you from fluctuations in raw cotton or polyester costs. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Diamond Members or Audited Suppliers as they are more likely to honor long-term pricing agreements.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by the platform to ensure your funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts; ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the business license and the Made-in-China.com profile.
