Highlander car model price manufacturers

The price is primarily driven by the scale (e.g., 1:18, 1:24, 1:32) and the manufacturing process. High-end models feature die-cast zinc alloy bodies, electrostatic spray painting for an authentic finish, and intricate interior detailing including flocked carpets and workable steering. Models with opening doors, hood, and trunk, as well as independent suspension systems, will command a higher price point compared to static resin or plastic versions.

For B2B buyers, Zinc Alloy is the standard for premium collectibles due to its weight and structural integrity. ABS plastic is often used for interior components to achieve fine detail. Ensure the windows are made of high-transparency acrylic to prevent yellowing over time. Models using rubber tires rather than plastic ones offer better grip and a more realistic aesthetic, which increases the retail value.

Since these are often classified as toys or collectibles, they must meet EN71 (Europe) or ASTM F963 (USA) safety standards. It is crucial to verify that the paint is lead-free and non-toxic. If the model includes electronic features like LED lights or engine sounds, it must also comply with EMC and RoHS directives to ensure battery safety and environmental standards.

To avoid legal risks, ensure the supplier has an official license from Toyota. Authentic models usually feature holographic stickers or specific branding on the packaging. Purchasing from audited suppliers on Made-in-China.com who specialize in OEM/ODM for automotive brands is a reliable way to ensure you are not buying counterfeit goods.

The main risk is structural damage or paint chipping due to vibration. You should insist on five-layer corrugated export cartons and custom-fit styrofoam or plastic blister packaging. For bulk shipments, palletizing the goods is highly recommended to minimize manual handling shocks during transit.

Focus on the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) tiers. Suppliers often offer a 10-20% discount when moving from LCL (Less than Container Load) to a full 20ft container. You can also negotiate lower unit prices by opting for standardized window box packaging instead of premium display cases if your target market is retail-heavy.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party to verify that the quantity, quality, and packaging match the Proforma Invoice before the final balance is paid.

Check the HS Code (typically 950300) for your specific country to determine import duties. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that may apply to certain molded products in specific regions. Utilizing FOB (Free On Board) terms allows you better control over the shipping costs and choice of freight forwarder compared to CIF.
