Inflatable chinese dragon manufacturers

For commercial or outdoor use, you should prioritize Oxford cloth (210D or 420D) for lightweight portability or PVC tarpaulin (0.4mm to 0.6mm) for heavy-duty durability. Ensure the material is UV-resistant to prevent color fading and waterproof for outdoor events. High-quality inflatables must feature double or quadruple stitching at high-stress points to prevent air leakage and structural failure.

Depending on your target market, the product must meet specific safety codes. For the US, ensure compliance with ASTM F963 and NFPA 701 (fire retardancy). For the EU, look for EN71 and CE certification. Additionally, the internal or external air blower must have UL, ETL, or GS certification to ensure electrical safety and prevent fire hazards during continuous operation.

Request high-resolution photos or videos of the digital printing or silk-screen printing quality. The dragon's scales, whiskers, and eyes should be sharp and vibrant. For cultural authenticity, check the structural design (e.g., the number of claws and the flow of the body). Ask the supplier if they use internal LED lighting systems to enhance the visual impact for nighttime festivals or parades.

You must specify the voltage (110V-120V or 220V-240V) and plug type compatible with your country. Confirm the blower wattage is sufficient to keep the dragon fully inflated even in slight winds. For large-scale dragons (over 5 meters), inquire about noise-reduction blowers if the product will be used in indoor settings or quiet environments.

Always request a pre-shipment inflation test. Ask the supplier to keep the dragon inflated for at least 24 hours and provide a time-stamped video. Use a third-party inspection service to check for air leaks, seam strength, and printing defects before the final balance is paid. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone verified on-site inspections.

Inflatables are often bulky. Negotiate for vacuum-compressed packaging to reduce the volumetric weight and save on freight costs. For large orders, FOB (Free On Board) is generally more cost-effective as it allows you to use your own freight forwarder. For smaller trial orders, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) can simplify the process by including all customs duties and taxes in the quote.

Utilize Secured Trading Services offered by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until you confirm receipt of the goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts. Ensure all specifications, including material weight, blower certifications, and delivery timelines, are clearly documented in the Proforma Invoice (PI).

Check the HS Code (typically 9503 or 9505) for inflatable decorations to determine the applicable import tariffs in your country. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that may apply to certain plastic or textile products from specific regions. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to potentially benefit from preferential trade agreements.
