Invitation lcd video greeting card manufacturers

When evaluating video cards, prioritize the screen resolution (e.g., 480x272 for 4.3-inch or 1024x600 for 7-inch) and IPS display technology for wider viewing angles. Ensure the battery capacity (typically 300mAh to 1500mAh) aligns with the intended video playback time. Additionally, verify the internal memory size (ranging from 128MB to 8GB) to ensure it can accommodate high-bitrate video files without compression artifacts.

Request samples using 300gsm to 350gsm art paper or specialty cardstock to ensure structural integrity. For premium branding, specify finishing techniques such as spot UV, foil stamping, or soft-touch lamination. Check that the magnetic induction switch or light sensor is high-quality to ensure the video triggers reliably upon opening the card.

Since these products contain lithium batteries and circuit boards, they must meet CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications for safety and environmental compliance. For the North American market, ensure the batteries are UN38.3 certified for safe air transport. If the cards are intended for children, they must also comply with EN71 or CPSIA standards.

Most professional suppliers provide cards with a hidden Micro-USB or Type-C port that allows for both charging and data transfer. This enables buyers to upload or change video content via a computer. Ensure the supplier provides a USB data cable that supports data sync, not just charging, to facilitate content management.

Products with integrated batteries are classified as Section II Dangerous Goods (PI967) in air freight. You must work with a freight forwarder experienced in electronics to ensure proper MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) documentation is provided. Using a reputable platform like Made-in-China.com can help you find verified suppliers who possess the necessary export licenses for battery-operated goods.

Negotiate based on tiered pricing (e.g., 100, 500, 1000 units) and request a pre-production sample (PPS) before the full run. Demand a 0.5% to 1% spare parts allowance for units that may have screen or sensor defects. For large orders, insist on milestone payments (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% after third-party inspection but before shipping) to maintain leverage.

Specify in your contract that the supplier must use Grade A LCD panels. Conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on screen brightness, color consistency, and the absence of dead pixels. If sourcing through Made-in-China.com, utilize their Audit Reports to check the manufacturer's production capacity and quality control history.

Be aware of Import Duties and HS Codes; video greeting cards are often classified under HS Code 8543.70 or 4909.00. Incorrect classification can lead to customs delays or unexpected tariffs. Always confirm the Certificate of Origin requirements for your specific country to benefit from any existing free trade agreements.
