Konica 1024 printhead price manufacturers

When evaluating the price, you must distinguish between the different versions of the Konica Minolta KM1024 series. Key specs include the drop size (6pl, 14pl, or 42pl), the drive mode (LNB, MNB, or SHB), and whether it is a solvent, UV, or oil-based compatible head. A lower price often indicates a refurbished or 'pulled' head rather than a brand-new original, so always verify the nozzle check report and serial number authenticity.

The KM1024i (Independent drive) and high-end 1024 models often feature integrated heaters. These are essential for maintaining ink viscosity in UV printing environments. Models with integrated heaters carry a price premium of 15-25% but offer significantly better jetting stability and color consistency. For standard solvent printing in temperate climates, a non-heated head may be more economically feasible.

Ensure the supplier provides an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certificate. High-quality printheads should come in sealed anti-static packaging with a factory test wave-form report. For international trade, verify that the supplier adheres to ISO 9001 quality management systems and that the product is compliant with RoHS standards to ensure no hazardous substances are used in the piezoelectric components.

A genuine Konica 1024 printhead typically lasts 2 to 4 years depending on ink quality and maintenance. While the initial capital expenditure (CAPEX) is high, the total cost of ownership (TCO) is lowered by its high nozzle density (1024 nozzles) and wide print width (72mm), which increases production speed. Buyers should factor in the cost of high-quality filtration systems to prevent nozzle clogging, which is the leading cause of premature failure.

The market is flooded with 'second-hand refurbished' heads sold as new. Always request a real-time video of the nozzle test and check for ink stains on the manifold. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after you verify the QR code and serial number with Konica Minolta’s official database. Avoid deals that are 30% below the market average, as these are almost certainly fraudulent.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order. Ask for bundled pricing that includes cables, dampers, or ink filters. Negotiate for a longer warranty period (standard is usually 'no warranty once ink is injected', but top-tier suppliers may offer dead-on-arrival (DOA) protection if installed by a certified technician).

Printheads are highly sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and physical shock. Insist on double-layered anti-static bagging and vacuum sealing. For international shipping to your country, use express air freight (DHL/FedEx/UPS) with full insurance coverage. Ensure the commercial invoice is accurately labeled as 'Computer Printer Parts' to align with HS Code 8443.99 for smooth customs clearance.

Always conduct transactions through audited suppliers on Made-in-China.com. Utilize Escrow-based payment methods where possible. Before full payment, request a Proforma Invoice (PI) that clearly states the condition (Brand New Original), version (e.g., KM1024 LNB 42PL), and the return policy for defective units.
