Led mosquito lamp manufacturers

When sourcing for B2B purposes, prioritize the wavelength of the UV LED, which should ideally be between 365nm and 395nm to effectively attract phototactic insects. Evaluate the effective coverage area (measured in square meters) to ensure it meets the buyer's space requirements. Additionally, check the grid voltage (typically 1000V to 4000V for zappers) or the suction power of the DC fan for inhalation-type lamps. Ensure the device uses fire-retardant ABS plastic for the outer shell to meet safety standards.

As electronic pest control devices, they must adhere to regional safety certifications. For the US market, look for UL or ETL listing and EPA registration (as they are considered pesticidal devices). For the European market, CE (LVD and EMC directives) and RoHS compliance are mandatory to ensure the absence of hazardous substances. If the product is for outdoor use, an IPX4 or higher waterproof rating is essential for moisture resistance.

High-quality lamps utilize dedicated UV-A LED beads with a lifespan of over 10,000 hours, whereas low-end models use dyed purple LEDs that lose effectiveness quickly. Request light decay test reports from the supplier. Professional-grade lamps often feature constant current drivers to prevent flickering and extend the LED life, ensuring consistent performance for end-users.

There are three primary types: Electric Shock Lamps, which use a high-voltage grid for instant kills; Suction/Inhalation Lamps, which use a fan to trap insects in a storage box (ideal for quiet environments like bedrooms); and Sticky Trap Lamps, which use UV light and glue boards (preferred for food service areas to prevent insect fragments from scattering). Choose based on the specific application scenario of your target market.

The primary risk is voltage and plug incompatibility; always specify the destination country's voltage (e.g., 110V vs 220V) and plug type (Type A, C, G, etc.) in the contract. Another risk is fragility during transit, especially for models with glass UV tubes (though LED versions are more durable). Ensure the supplier uses drop-test approved packaging and consider a third-party pre-shipment inspection to verify the functional rate of the LEDs.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. When negotiating, request a detailed breakdown of the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure they aren't swapping high-quality LEDs for cheaper ones after the sampling phase. Always define clear Quality Acceptable Levels (AQL) in your Proforma Invoice to provide leverage in case of defects.

If the lamps are portable and contain Lithium-ion batteries, they are classified as Dangerous Goods (UN3481). You must ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 test report and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). Shipping costs for battery-operated units are generally higher and require specialized logistics channels. For bulk orders of plug-in models, sea freight (FCL/LCL) is the most cost-effective method.

Do not accept scanned copies at face value. Cross-reference the Certificate Number on the official websites of the issuing bodies (e.g., TUV, SGS, or Intertek). Ensure the company name on the certificate matches the manufacturer's name on the business license. On Made-in-China.com, look for Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site verification by independent inspection companies.
