Buyers must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, ABS plastic, or TPE/TPR. It is critical to verify that materials are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and latex-free to prevent skin irritation or toxicity. Request FDA (US) or REACH (EU) compliance certificates from the supplier to ensure the chemical composition meets international health standards.

Focus on battery longevity and motor noise levels; high-quality units should operate under 50 decibels and feature lithium-ion rechargeable batteries with USB magnetic charging. For internal use products, a waterproof rating of IPX7 (submersible) is the industry benchmark for hygiene and durability. Additionally, look for dual-motor technology and app-controlled synchronization for modern market appeal.

Request life-cycle test reports showing the motor can withstand at least 100 hours of continuous vibration without failure. Ensure the charging port interface is reinforced to prevent loose connections. For wearable items like strap-ons or harnesses, check for reinforced stitching and high-tensile nylon or leather that can withstand significant mechanical stress.

Products must carry the CE mark and RoHS certification for electronic safety and environmental protection. Packaging should include multi-language user manuals and clear disclaimer labels. Depending on the target market, ensure the product meets FCC (US) or UKCA (UK) standards for electromagnetic compatibility if the device includes Bluetooth or wireless features.

Adult products can be sensitive in certain jurisdictions. Use neutral packaging without explicit imagery to avoid customs delays or seizures. Ensure the HS Code (typically 9019.10 or 3926.90) is accurately declared. On Made-in-China.com, you can find experienced exporters who specialize in 'discreet shipping' to navigate strict regional regulations.

Negotiate based on MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) tiers; for example, a 500-unit order may reduce the unit price by 15-20% compared to a 50-unit trial. Request OEM/ODM customization (private labeling) as part of the package to build brand equity. Always insist on a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party to ensure the bulk order matches the approved sample.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after proof of shipment. Avoid direct wire transfers to unverified personal accounts. Verify the supplier's Audit Report and Gold Member status to confirm they have a physical factory and a legitimate business license.

For high-value electronics, Air Freight with DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms is recommended to minimize handling and ensure the supplier manages all import taxes. For large bulk orders, Sea Freight is more economical, but ensure the use of desiccant packs in the master cartons to prevent moisture damage to electronic circuits during long transit times.
