Mosquito killer lamp manufacturers

Buyers should distinguish between Electronic Shock (Zapper), Suction (Fan-based), and Sticky Trap technologies. For high-efficiency, look for lamps using 365nm-395nm UV LED or CCFL tubes, as this specific wavelength is most effective at attracting mosquitoes. Additionally, models incorporating Biomimetic CO2 release or Heat simulation (37°C) significantly increase capture rates by mimicking human presence.

As electrical devices, they must meet CE (LVD and EMC) for the European market and UL or ETL certification for North America. Since these products often contain UV components and electronic grids, RoHS compliance is essential to ensure no hazardous substances are used. For the US market, ensure the manufacturer is EPA registered, as pest control devices are regulated under FIFRA.

Safety is paramount; ensure the outer protective cage has a gap width of less than 8mm to prevent accidental finger contact. Look for units with an automatic power-off function when the collection tray is removed. For outdoor models, an IPX4 or higher waterproof rating is required to prevent short circuits during rain.

Commercial-grade lamps should offer a bulb lifespan of at least 5,000 to 8,000 hours. Prioritize suppliers that provide replaceable UV tubes rather than integrated LEDs that cannot be serviced. The design should allow for easy-clean collection trays and include a brush accessory to maintain the efficiency of the electric grid.

The primary risk is voltage and plug incompatibility; always specify the destination country's voltage (e.g., 110V vs 220V) and plug type (Type A, C, G, etc.) in the contract. Another risk is UV tube breakage during transit; ensure the supplier uses reinforced 5-layer corrugated packaging and internal EPE foam cushioning.

Request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) and stipulate that the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) 2.5/4.0 must be met. Negotiate for a 1-2% spare parts allowance (especially for UV tubes and starters) to be included in the bulk order to handle minor defects without needing international returns.

If the lamps are portable/rechargeable, they contain Lithium batteries, which require UN38.3 certification and MSDS reports for air or sea freight. For standard plug-in models, ensure the HS Code (typically 854370) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect duty applications.

Look for Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone third-party verification by SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Check their Export Experience to your specific region to ensure they are familiar with your local electronic safety regulations and labeling requirements (such as WEEE for Europe).
