Mosquito mats manufacturers

B2B buyers should prioritize mats containing Prallethrin or Esbiothrin, typically at a concentration of 10mg to 15mg per mat. These pyrethroids are highly effective for knockdown and mortality of mosquitoes. Ensure the mat substrate is made of high-density cellulose fiber to allow for stable, slow-release evaporation over a period of 8 to 12 hours. The mat should be compatible with standard electric heaters (110V-240V) and maintain a consistent heating temperature of 150°C to 165°C for optimal efficacy.

As these products contain pesticides, they must comply with strict chemical regulations. For the EU market, products must adhere to the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) and REACH standards. For the US, EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) registration is mandatory. Globally, look for suppliers with ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental safety. Ensure the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is provided to verify the safety profile for human inhalation and skin contact.

Request a Bio-efficacy Test Report from a third-party lab to confirm the KT50 (Knockdown Time for 50% of mosquitoes), which should ideally be under 15-20 minutes. Safety-wise, ensure the fragrance used is IFRA-compliant to prevent respiratory irritation. Conduct a smoke-free test; high-quality mats should be completely smokeless and ash-free during the heating process to ensure suitability for indoor residential use.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com typically offer customized foil packaging to prevent active ingredient degradation. Buyers can specify fragrance types (e.g., Lavender, Eucalyptus, or Odorless) and color-changing indicators (where the mat turns white when exhausted). For retail-ready goods, ensure the outer box supports FSC-certified sustainable cardboard and includes multi-language instructions for local market compliance.

Mosquito mats are often classified as Class 9 Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods or 'Environmentally Hazardous Substances' depending on the concentration of active ingredients. You must ensure the supplier provides a UN3077/UN3082 declaration and a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods. Use sea freight for large volumes to reduce costs, but ensure the container is kept away from heat sources to prevent premature evaporation of the active ingredients.

Standard MOQs for custom-branded mats usually range from 100,000 to 300,000 pieces. To optimize costs, negotiate a tiered pricing structure where a 20% increase in volume leads to a 5-8% reduction in unit price. For long-term partnerships, request price protection clauses against fluctuations in the cost of raw cellulose and chemical solvents. Always verify the supplier's status on Made-in-China.com to ensure they are an Audited Supplier.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released upon confirmation of shipment. Before the final balance payment, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Random Sampling Inspection to check for mat weight consistency, packaging seal integrity, and active ingredient concentration.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties that some regions may impose on chemical products from specific origins. Check the Harmonized System (HS) Code (typically 3808.91) for your target country to determine the exact import tariffs. Ensure all labels include the Country of Origin, Batch Number, and Expiry Date, as missing information can lead to customs seizures or heavy fines.
