Nitrile gloves factory manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize AQL (Acceptable Quality Level), typically 1.5 for medical grade and 2.5 to 4.0 for industrial use. Key metrics include tensile strength (minimum 14 MPa) and elongation at break (minimum 500%). Ensure the factory provides gloves with a thickness of at least 3-5 mils for standard protection, and verify that the products are 100% latex-free and powder-free to prevent allergic reactions and contamination.

For the US market, factories must have FDA 510(k) clearance and comply with ASTM D6319. For the European market, CE marking is essential, adhering to EN 455 (Medical) and EN 374 (Chemical protection). Additionally, ensure the factory holds ISO 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management) and ISO 9001 certifications to guarantee consistent manufacturing processes.

Request a factory profile detailing the number of automated production lines and the monthly output capacity (e.g., 50 million pieces/month). A reliable factory should offer OEM/ODM services for custom branding and packaging. It is advisable to check if they have stable raw material supply chains (NBR - Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) to avoid production delays during market fluctuations.

Different scenarios require specific attributes: Medical/Examination gloves require high tactile sensitivity; Industrial/Chemical gloves need higher puncture resistance and thickness; and Food-grade gloves must comply with SGS or FDA food contact safety standards. Always match the cuff length and texture (fingertip vs. full-palm) to the end-user's specific environment.

The primary risks include substandard quality (recycled materials) and fraudulent certifications. Always perform third-party pre-shipment inspections (PSI) through agencies like SGS or Intertek. Be wary of prices significantly below the market average, as this often indicates counterfeit goods or a lack of proper export licenses.

For large-scale orders, aim for tiered pricing where the unit cost drops by 5-10% for volumes exceeding 1 million pieces. Use secure payment methods such as Letter of Credit (L/C) or Escrow services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com. Avoid 100% upfront payments; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is recommended.

Nitrile gloves are bulky; therefore, sea freight (FCL - Full Container Load) is the most cost-effective method. Ensure the factory uses moisture-proof packaging and high-quality outer cartons to prevent crushing during transit. Verify the HS Code (typically 4015.19) to accurately calculate import duties and taxes in your destination country.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as these factories have undergone rigorous on-site verification. Request live video tours of the production facility and ask for recent export records or references from international clients to validate their credibility and experience in cross-border trade.
