Non woven bag manufacturers

The most critical factor is the fabric weight (GSM - Grams per Square Meter). For standard shopping bags, 70-90 GSM is recommended, while heavy-duty reusable bags require 100-120 GSM. Additionally, evaluate the sealing method: Ultrasonic heat sealing is cost-effective for high volumes, whereas X-stitch reinforcement on handles is essential for bags intended to carry loads over 5-10kg.

Buyers should prioritize suppliers who provide SGS or Intertek test reports confirming the material is BPA-free and lead-free. For the European market, ensure compliance with REACH regulations, and for the US, verify CPSIA standards if the bags are intended for promotional use involving children. Look for OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification to guarantee the absence of harmful substances in the dyes and fabric.

For simple logos with 1-2 colors, Silk Screen Printing is the most economical choice. If your design involves complex gradients or photographic images, Heat Transfer Printing or Lamination (OPP film) is required. Laminated non-woven bags not only offer superior print quality but also provide waterproof properties and enhanced durability, extending the brand's visibility.

Request a static load test report from the supplier. A high-quality non-woven bag should withstand its rated weight for 24 hours without seam failure. You should also check the tensile strength of the non-woven polypropylene (PP) material; high-quality virgin PP material is much stronger and more durable than recycled content (RPP), which can be brittle.

Always request a pre-production sample (PPS) before the mass production begins. Utilize third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or QIMA) to conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO) or a Final Random Inspection (FRI). On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site verification by independent inspection companies to ensure their manufacturing capabilities are legitimate.

Non-woven bags are a high-volume, low-margin commodity. To get the best price, consolidate your designs to increase the volume per SKU, as this reduces the 'plate-making' or 'screen' costs. Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including shipping. For first-time orders, aim for a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to protect your capital.

Non-woven bags are lightweight but bulky. To optimize shipping costs, instruct the supplier to use heavy-duty compression packing to reduce the cubic meter (CBM) volume. For large orders, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the only economically viable option. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list and uses waterproof inner liners in the cartons to prevent moisture damage during long transit times.

Use Secured Trading Services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is only released to the supplier once you confirm receipt and quality. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts; always ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the business license and the proforma invoice.
