Plain colour blanket manufacturers

For the premium segment, prioritize 100% long-staple cotton or high-GSM (300+) flannel fleece for superior hand-feel. For budget-conscious markets, 100% polyester polar fleece or microfiber offers the best cost-to-warmth ratio. Ensure the GSM (Grams per Square Meter) is clearly defined, as this directly impacts the blanket's weight, warmth, and perceived value.

Buyers must verify that products meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, which guarantees the absence of harmful substances. For the US market, compliance with CPSC lead and phthalate regulations and flammability standards (16 CFR Part 1610) is essential. For the EU market, adherence to REACH regulations is a prerequisite for customs clearance.

Request Lab Dip approvals before mass production to ensure the plain color matches your brand's Pantone reference. Verify the Color Fastness Rating (Grade 4 or higher) against washing, rubbing, and light. Additionally, confirm that the fabric has undergone anti-pilling and anti-shrinkage treatments to maintain its appearance after multiple laundry cycles.

For high-traffic environments like hotels, double-stitched hems or overlock stitching with reinforced borders are recommended to prevent fraying. Satin binding offers a luxury aesthetic but requires higher quality control to ensure the ribbon does not detach. Ultrasonic embossing is a cost-effective, threadless alternative for modern, minimalist designs.

Always utilize Third-Party Inspections (such as SGS or Intertek) before the final payment. Conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO) to catch fabric defects early and a Final Random Inspection (FRI) based on AQL 2.5/4.0 standards to verify quantity, weight, and packaging integrity.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for lower MOQs on trial colors in exchange for a larger total volume commitment. Ask for tiered pricing based on seasonal fluctuations in raw material (polyester/cotton) costs to ensure you benefit from market price drops.

Blankets are high-volume, low-weight goods. To optimize shipping costs, request vacuum compression packaging, which can reduce the cargo volume by up to 50-70%, allowing more units per container. However, ensure the supplier uses high-quality vacuum bags that do not leak, as re-expansion during transit can damage outer cartons.

Use Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until shipping documents are verified. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; always ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the business license and the Proforma Invoice.
