Portable x ray system manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Generator Power (kW), typically ranging from 1.5kW to 5kW for portability; higher power allows for imaging thicker body parts. Focal Spot Size is critical for image clarity; a smaller focal spot (e.g., 0.6mm or less) provides higher resolution. Additionally, check the Battery Capacity, ensuring it can support at least 100-200 exposures per charge to maintain workflow efficiency in field settings.

As a Class II or III medical device, the system must adhere to ISO 13485 for quality management. For market access, ensure the product has CE Marking (MDR) for Europe, FDA 510(k) clearance for the US, or NMPA for China. Radiation safety compliance with IEC 60601-1-3 (protection against ionizing radiation) is non-negotiable to ensure the safety of both operators and patients.

Modern portable units should ideally be DR-compatible or come with an integrated Flat Panel Detector (FPD). Look for CsI (Cesium Iodide) scintillators which offer lower patient dose and higher image quality compared to Gadox. Ensure the software supports DICOM 3.0 for seamless integration with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).

These systems are designed for Bedside Imaging in ICUs, Emergency Disaster Relief, Military Field Hospitals, and Veterinary Clinics. For home healthcare providers, the Total Weight (ideally under 15-20kg for handhelds or under 100kg for motorized mobile carts) and Ease of Assembly are the primary factors for selection.

The primary risks include Physical Damage to the X-ray Tube, which is highly sensitive to vibration. Ensure the supplier uses Vacuum Packaging and Suspended Wooden Crates. Furthermore, since some units contain high-capacity lithium batteries, they must be shipped as Class 9 Dangerous Goods, requiring specific labeling and documentation to avoid customs delays or impoundment.

Focus on After-Sales Technical Support rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a 1-2% spare parts kit (including cables and switches) and request Remote Technical Training sessions. For bulk orders, aim for a 15-20% discount and insist on a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek to verify the tube's output consistency.

Always utilize Secured Payment Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. For large-scale hospital tenders, consider using a Letter of Credit (L/C) to mitigate financial risk. Ensure the Warranty Terms (ideally 12-24 months) are clearly stated in the Proforma Invoice, covering the X-ray tube and the detector.

Buyers must verify if their country requires an Import License for Radiation-Emitting Devices. You will need to provide the HS Code (typically 9022.14), a Radiation Safety Certificate, and a Certificate of Origin. Failure to provide these can lead to the shipment being held in a bonded warehouse, incurring high storage fees.
