Reflective t-shirt manufacturers

Buyers must ensure products comply with EN ISO 20471 (European standard) or ANSI/ISEA 107 (U.S. standard) for high-visibility clothing. These standards define the minimum area of fluorescent background material and the retro-reflective tape placement to ensure 360° visibility. For the fabric, look for OEKO-TEX Standard 100 to guarantee the absence of harmful substances.

The quality is measured by the coefficient of retro-reflection (cd/lx/m²). High-quality tapes, such as those from 3M or certified domestic equivalents, should maintain visibility even after 25 to 50 industrial wash cycles. Always request a wash test report from the supplier to verify that the reflective strips won't crack or peel prematurely.

For breathability and durability, a Bird's Eye Mesh (100% Polyester) or a Cotton-Polyester blend (CVC) with a weight of 130-180 GSM is recommended. Ensure the fabric has moisture-wicking properties and UPF 40+ UV protection if the shirts are intended for outdoor construction or roadwork scenarios.

Yes, but logo placement must not obstruct the mandatory reflective zones defined by safety classes (Class 1, 2, or 3). Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer heat-transfer printing or silk-screen printing using specialized inks that adhere to synthetic safety fabrics without damaging the fluorescent dyes.

Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Specifically, instruct them to perform a dark-room reflection test and a colorfastness test. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service can also protect your payment until the quality is verified.

Reflective T-shirts often involve multi-stage production (dyeing, tape application, stitching). Ensure the contract specifies a fixed lead time (typically 20-35 days) and includes a penalty clause for delays. Be aware that peak seasons for construction gear (Spring/Summer) may extend production times.

For large volumes (over 500kg), Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical. However, for urgent seasonal stock, Rail Freight (especially for EU buyers) offers a middle ground between cost and speed. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list to avoid customs delays related to textile import quotas or anti-dumping duties.

Before sharing tech packs or logos, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Choose Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have a proven track record of working with international brands, as they are more likely to respect IP rights and design exclusivity.
