Sachet filling machine manufacturers

When evaluating a sachet filling machine, you must prioritize the filling accuracy (typically ±1%) and the sealing integrity to prevent leakage. Key components include the PLC control system (e.g., Siemens or Delta) for operational stability and 304 or 316L stainless steel construction to meet food and pharmaceutical grade hygiene standards. Additionally, check the packaging speed (bags per minute) and whether the machine supports multi-lane configurations for higher throughput.

Compatibility depends on the dosing system. For powders, an auger filler is essential to manage dust and ensure precision; for liquids or pastes, a piston pump or peristaltic pump is required to handle viscosity. If you are packing granules, look for a volumetric cup filler or a multi-head weigher. Always request a material testing video from the supplier using your specific product sample before finalizing the purchase.

For entry into the European market, the machine must have a CE Certification and comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. For the US market, UL-listed electrical components and FDA-compliant contact parts are crucial. If the machine is used in the pharmaceutical industry, ensure it supports GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and provides necessary IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification) documentation.

Regular maintenance should focus on the heating elements and sealing jaws, which require cleaning to prevent carbon buildup. The pneumatic components should be checked for air leaks, and moving parts must be lubricated according to the manufacturer's schedule. Choosing a machine with a modular design allows for easier replacement of wear parts (like cutting blades and teflon tape), reducing downtime.

Utilize Third-Party Inspection services (such as SGS or Intertek) to conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This ensures the machine's functions, safety features, and build quality match the Proforma Invoice. For secure transactions, use Made-in-China.com's secured payment services to ensure funds are only released after proof of shipment or inspection.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the sticker price. Negotiate for a comprehensive spare parts package (enough for 1-2 years) and extended warranty periods (18-24 months). Clarify the incoterms—while FOB (Free On Board) is standard, ensure the supplier provides detailed crating and vacuum packaging to prevent sea-salt corrosion during transit.

Sachet filling machines are precision instruments and must be shipped in fumigated solid wooden cases. Ensure the supplier uses silica gel desiccant inside the packaging. For shipping to countries with strict customs, verify the HS Code (typically 8422.30) to calculate accurate import duties and ensure all wiring diagrams and English manuals are included for smooth customs clearance.

Confirm if the supplier provides remote technical support via video call and if they have English-speaking engineers. High-quality suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide installation videos and PLC remote-access troubleshooting. Ask if they can dispatch engineers for on-site commissioning, though note that the buyer usually covers travel, accommodation, and daily service fees.
