Sanden 505 compressor price manufacturers

When evaluating the price, you must confirm the displacement (87cc), the number of cylinders (5), and the refrigerant compatibility (typically R134a). Ensure the price includes the clutch assembly, and specify the voltage (12V or 24V) and pulley type (A2, 2PK, or Multi-groove), as these variations significantly impact the final quote.

Prices vary between Genuine Sanden (Japan/Singapore), Licensed Sanden (China/India), and Aftermarket Replacements. Genuine units command a premium for OEM reliability, while high-quality aftermarket units from reputable Chinese manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer a cost-effective balance for repair and maintenance markets, provided they use high-grade seals and bearings.

To ensure long-term performance, prioritize suppliers with ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 certifications, which are the gold standards for the automotive supply chain. Request helium leak test reports and durability cycle test data to justify the price and ensure the unit won't fail under high-pressure conditions.

The Sanden 505 is a compact, high-speed compressor ideal for small passenger cars, specialized agricultural machinery, and electric vehicle thermal management. For heavy-duty industrial use, ensure the price reflects a unit with reinforced mounting ears and heavy-duty internal swash plates to handle continuous vibration.

Always request high-resolution photos of the nameplate and casting marks. Genuine-style units should have clear, engraved serial numbers. Use Made-in-China.com's 'Audited Supplier' reports to verify if the factory actually has the production lines for AC compressors rather than just being a trading company.

Negotiate based on Annual Purchase Volume (APV) rather than a single order. Ask for a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 100 units vs. 500 units). You can often secure a 5-10% discount by agreeing to a long-term supply contract or by opting for neutral packaging to reduce branding costs.

Compressors are heavy and contain precision internal parts. Ensure the supplier uses custom-molded foam inserts and double-walled corrugated boxes. Crucially, confirm if the unit is shipped 'wet' (with PAG oil) or 'dry' (with nitrogen charge), as this affects customs declarations for hazardous liquids and installation procedures.

Check the HS Code (typically 841430) against your country's tariff schedule. For example, US buyers should account for Section 301 tariffs if sourcing from China. Request Certificate of Origin (Form E or Form F) from the supplier to take advantage of Free Trade Agreements (FTA) which can reduce import duties to zero in certain regions.
