Sd card for camera manufacturers

When sourcing SD cards, you must prioritize Write Speed over read speed. For 4K video recording, look for Video Speed Class V30, V60, or V90. Ensure the card supports UHS-II interface if the camera hardware allows, as this significantly reduces buffer clearing time. Additionally, verify the Bus Speed (UHS-I vs UHS-II) to ensure compatibility with the buyer's specific camera models.

Request H2testw or Fakeslash verification reports from the supplier to ensure the advertised capacity matches the actual flash memory. Professional buyers should insist on original Tier-1 NAND flash chips (e.g., from Samsung, Micron, or Toshiba) rather than downgraded or 'ink-die' chips. Check for CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications to ensure global market compliance.

For outdoor or professional photography, cards should be waterproof (IPX7), shockproof, and X-ray proof. If the cards are for security cameras or dashcams, specify High Endurance (MLC or pSLC NAND) which supports thousands of write cycles, unlike standard TLC chips which may fail prematurely under constant recording.

Standard SDHC (up to 32GB) uses FAT32, while SDXC (64GB to 2TB) uses exFAT. Ensure the buyer's hardware supports the specific file system. For modern mirrorless cameras, MicroSD cards with adapters are versatile, but Full-size SD cards are generally preferred for physical stability and higher heat dissipation during long shoots.

This is the most common risk in electronics sourcing. Never prepay in full without a sample test. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to hold funds until quality is verified. Conduct a random sampling inspection (AQL 2.5/4.0) before the final shipment to ensure the batch consistency matches the approved sample.

Flash memory prices fluctuate weekly based on the global silicon market. Negotiate for 'Price Protection' or a floating price mechanism based on market indices. For large volumes, ask for customized CID (Card Identification) or private labeling (OEM) which can be bundled at a low cost if the order exceeds 1,000 units.

SD cards are sensitive to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Ensure the supplier uses anti-static packaging and moisture-proof vacuum sealing. Because they are high-value but low-volume, Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is usually the most cost-effective and secure method, providing door-to-door tracking and faster customs clearance.

Avoid sourcing cards with 'SanDisk' or 'Samsung' logos unless the supplier provides a Letter of Authorization (LOA). To avoid customs seizure, it is safer to source White Label products or use your own brand. Ensure the supplier is a member of the SD Association (SDA) to guarantee the product uses legal, licensed technology.
