When sourcing these products, the most critical factor is biocompatibility. Ensure all materials are medical-grade silicone, TPE, or ABS plastic that are BPA-free and phthalate-free. You should request ROHS and REACH certification to ensure the absence of hazardous chemicals, as these products have prolonged contact with sensitive skin.

Focus on waterproof ratings (IPX7 or higher) to ensure safety and ease of cleaning. Additionally, verify the battery capacity (mAh) and charging method; magnetic USB charging is currently the industry standard for high-end models. Ensure the noise level is below 50dB to meet consumer demands for discretion.

Request a reliability test report from the supplier, which should include button life cycle tests (usually >5,000 presses) and battery aging tests. For motorized items, the motor vibration frequency and stability should be consistent across samples. It is highly recommended to source from manufacturers on Made-in-China.com who hold ISO 9001 factory audits.

For the US market, products must be FDA registered (Class II medical devices for certain categories). For the EU, CE marking and WEEE compliance (for electronic waste) are mandatory. Failure to provide these documents can lead to customs seizure and heavy fines.

Intimate products are often flagged during inspection. Ensure the HS Code (typically 9019.10 or 3926.90) is accurate and that the packaging is discreet and neutral, avoiding explicit imagery. Work with freight forwarders experienced in 'Special Goods' logistics to navigate regional sensitivities.

Start by requesting a small sample order to verify quality. When moving to bulk, negotiate based on tiered pricing (e.g., 500, 1000, 5000 units). Ask for OEM/ODM customization (private labeling) early, as this adds significant brand value. Always use Secure Payment services provided by the platform to protect your funds until delivery is confirmed.

Due to the hygienic nature of these products, returns are rarely possible. Instead, negotiate a defective allowance (usually 1-2%) where the supplier provides extra units for free in the next shipment, or a 12-month replacement warranty for electronic components.

Always conduct transactions through verified channels. Prioritize 'Diamond Members' or 'Audited Suppliers' on Made-in-China.com, as these companies have undergone third-party verification of their business license and production capabilities. Avoid direct wire transfers to unknown personal accounts.
