Single door locker price manufacturers

When comparing prices, the material thickness (gauge) is the most critical factor; look for 0.6mm to 1.2mm cold-rolled steel to ensure structural integrity. Additionally, verify the powder coating quality, as electrostatic spraying prevents rust and scratches. Ensure the price includes ventilation louvers and a nameplate slot, which are standard for industrial and school use.

The choice of lock significantly impacts the unit price. A standard cam lock or padlock latch is the most economical. However, upgrading to digital electronic locks, RFID card readers, or 4-digit combination locks can increase the cost by 20% to 50%. For B2B buyers, it is often more cost-effective to source lockers with pre-drilled holes to install specialized locks locally if the supplier's premium is too high.

To ensure safety and quality, prioritize suppliers who meet ISO 9001 for manufacturing and ISO 14001 for environmental management. For specific markets like the US or EU, check for BIFMA X5.9 (Storage Units) compliance and REACH/RoHS certification for the powder coating to ensure no toxic lead or heavy metals are present.

For cross-border sourcing, Knock-Down (KD) structures are highly recommended as they reduce shipping volume by up to 70%, significantly lowering freight costs. While they require on-site assembly, modern designs feature boltless 'snap-in' systems that allow a single door locker to be assembled in under 5-10 minutes.

Steel lockers are prone to denting. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with EPS foam corner protectors and plastic film wrapping to prevent moisture. For bulk orders, request palletization to minimize handling damage during transshipment.

Focus on the Total Landed Cost. Instead of just pushing for a lower unit price, negotiate for spare parts (extra keys, handles, leveling feet) to be included at no cost. On platforms like Made-in-China.com, you can leverage volume-based pricing tiers, where increasing an order from 50 to 200 units can often yield a 10-15% discount.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Utilize Audit Reports and Verified Supplier badges to confirm the factory's physical existence and production capacity before sending a deposit (typically 30% T/T).

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD). Some regions have specific tariffs on Chinese steel furniture. Always confirm the HS Code (typically 9403.10) with your customs broker. For shipping, FOB (Free On Board) is preferred for experienced buyers to control freight costs, while CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) is easier for first-time importers.
