Solid tyre wheel factory manufacturers

When evaluating solid tyres, prioritize load-bearing capacity and rubber compound quality. Ensure the tyres feature a three-stage construction: a high-strength steel base for secure rim fitment, a resilient center cushion for shock absorption, and a wear-resistant tread. For high-intensity environments, specify heat-resistant compounds to prevent internal friction buildup, and verify that the Shore A Hardness aligns with your specific floor conditions (typically 65-75 Shore A for standard industrial use).

Suppliers must adhere to ISO 9001 for quality management systems. For specific markets, ensure compliance with REACH (EU) regarding chemical substances in rubber, and TRA (Tire and Rim Association) or ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation) standards for dimensional consistency. If the tyres are for food or pharmaceutical warehouses, request Non-Marking (NM) certification to ensure no black carbon dust is left on floors.

Request a Third-Party Inspection Report covering abrasion resistance (DIN 53516) and elongation at break. A high-quality solid tyre should show an abrasion loss of less than 150mm³. Additionally, ask the factory for rolling resistance test data; lower resistance translates to significant fuel or battery savings for your forklift fleet. Always request a sample for a 50-hour trial run under maximum load conditions to check for debonding or cracking.

A top-tier factory should offer OEM/ODM services, including custom tread patterns (lug, block, or smooth) for different terrains, and specialized compounds such as anti-static, oil-resistant, or flame-retardant rubber. Furthermore, verify if they provide Easy-Fit (Click/Lint) systems which allow for tyre installation without the need for separate lock rings and side rings, significantly reducing maintenance downtime.

The biggest risk is internal separation (delamination) due to poor vulcanization, which is invisible to the naked eye. Mitigate this by using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and insisting on a 12-month or 2,000-hour warranty. Another risk is incompatible rim fitment; always provide the supplier with precise rim width and diameter specifications in millimeters to avoid costly return shipping.

Solid tyres are extremely heavy, making sea freight the only viable option. Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 20ft container vs. 40ft container) as shipping high-density cargo often hits weight limits before volume limits. Request FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over your logistics costs and ensure the supplier uses fumigated wooden pallets capable of supporting 2-3 tons to prevent transit damage.

Never transfer full payment upfront. Follow a 30/70 payment structure: 30% deposit to start production and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) copy after a successful pre-shipment inspection. Use the Audit Reports available on Made-in-China.com to verify the factory's actual production capacity and export history to ensure they are a legitimate manufacturer and not a small trading intermediary.
