Stainless steel kettle manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Food-Grade Stainless Steel, specifically SUS 304 (18/8) or SUS 316, as these materials offer superior corrosion resistance and ensure no harmful chemicals leach into the water. Avoid '200 series' stainless steel which is prone to rusting. Ensure the product complies with FDA (USA), LFGB (Germany/EU), or GB 4806.9 (China) food contact safety standards.

For electric models, the heating element should be a concealed 304 stainless steel plate for easy cleaning. Key safety features must include Strix or Otter controllers for reliable Auto Shut-Off and Boil-Dry Protection. Check the rated power (typically 1500W-2200W) and ensure the plug type and voltage (110V or 220V) match the target market's electrical grid.

High-quality kettles utilize seamless laser welding at the spout and handle joints to prevent leaks and bacterial buildup. The exterior finish should be either mirror-polished or brushed (satin); check for uniformity and the absence of sharp edges. For painted or powder-coated kettles, verify that the coating is heat-resistant and BPA-free.

Capacity usually ranges from 0.5L (Hotel/Travel) to 1.7L-2.5L (Home/Office). For the hospitality sector, look for double-wall vacuum insulation or cool-touch exteriors to prevent guest burns. For retail/e-commerce, focus on aesthetic design and ergonomic handle grip to differentiate the product in a crowded market.

Electronic appliances are strictly regulated. You must ensure the supplier provides valid CE, GS, RoHS, or UL certifications. Failure to provide these can lead to customs seizure or heavy fines. Always verify the authenticity of certificates by checking the issuing lab's database or using the verification services on Made-in-China.com.

Standard MOQs for stainless steel kettles are often 500 to 1,000 units. To reduce risk, negotiate a sample order first. For OEM/Private Labeling, clarify the costs for logo silk-printing, customized color boxes, and instruction manuals upfront. Request a Golden Sample to be sealed as the quality benchmark for the mass production run.

Stainless steel is durable but prone to denting and scratching. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons and individual bubble wrap or molded pulp inserts for each unit. For sea freight, ensure the use of desiccants inside the container to prevent 'container rain' which can cause oxidation or mold on the packaging.

Utilize Trade Assurance or secure payment terms to protect your funds. It is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like V-Trust or SGS) to perform a During Production (DUP) or Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Focus the inspection on leakage tests, high-voltage safety tests, and boiling time verification.
