Tpu case transparent manufacturers

When sourcing transparent TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) cases, the primary concern is optical clarity and anti-yellowing properties. You should prioritize suppliers using German Bayer or Japanese Mitsui raw materials, as these offer superior UV resistance. Ensure the material hardness is typically between 85A to 95A to balance flexibility with impact protection. Additionally, look for a micro-dot pattern (optical texture) on the inner surface to prevent the 'rainbow effect' or 'wet look' caused by the case sticking to the glass back of the phone.

To ensure product performance, request SGS or Intertek drop test reports (e.g., MIL-STD-810G). Key structural features should include reinforced air-cushion corners and a raised bezel (at least 0.8mm to 1.2mm) to protect the camera lens and screen. For durability, confirm the abrasion resistance and check if the case maintains its shape after repeated installation and removal cycles.

For the US market, ensure the products are CPSIA compliant and free from harmful phthalates. For the EU, the cases must adhere to REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directives to ensure they do not contain lead, cadmium, or other toxic substances. If the case includes built-in magnets (for MagSafe compatibility), ensure the magnetic flux density meets safety standards for electronic interference.

Most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. This includes IMD (In-Mold Decoration) for long-lasting prints, UV printing, or laser engraving for branding. Ensure the supplier can provide precise 1:1 mold openings based on official device dimensions to guarantee that ports, buttons, and speakers align perfectly. You should also verify if they support integrated packaging solutions (retail-ready boxes) to reduce your secondary processing costs.

Yellowing is a natural chemical reaction to UV light and heat. To mitigate this, negotiate a quality guarantee period (usually 6-12 months) specifically for anti-yellowing. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms to control the shipping environment, and ensure the goods are stored in cool, dry warehouses away from direct sunlight. Requesting a UV stabilizer additive during the injection molding process is a standard industry strategy to prolong transparency.

Start by requesting a sample kit containing different grades of TPU to compare clarity. When negotiating price, focus on the weight of the raw material and the mold precision. For large volumes (e.g., >5,000 units), aim for a 15-25% discount compared to the sample price. Always clarify the defective rate allowance (standard is <1%) and agree on a compensation protocol (refund vs. replacement) before placing the deposit.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. For quality assurance, hire a third-party inspection agency (like V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). They will check for common defects like black spots, bubbles, burrs (flash), and poor button tactile feedback. Never release the final 70% balance until the inspection report is approved.

Since TPU cases are lightweight but high-volume, Sea Freight (LCL) is the most cost-effective for large stock orders, though it takes 30-45 days. For 'hot-selling' new phone launches, use Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) to capture the market window, despite higher costs. Ensure the supplier uses double-corrugated export cartons and moisture-proof inner bags to prevent damage and contamination during transit.
