Trichlorfon price manufacturers

The price of Trichlorfon is primarily driven by its purity levels (Technical Grade vs. Formulated). Standard Technical Grade (TC) usually requires a purity of ≥97%. For end-use, common formulations include 90% Crystal, 80% Soluble Powder (SP), and 50% Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC). Buyers should verify the acidity (calculated as H2SO4) is ≤0.3% and water-insoluble matter is ≤0.5% to ensure stability and prevent nozzle clogging during application.

As a chemical pesticide, Trichlorfon must adhere to FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) specifications. Suppliers should provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). For entry into specific markets, ensure compliance with EPA registration (USA), REACH regulation (EU), or local Pesticide Control Board requirements. Always check the HS Code (typically 293139) to confirm current tariff rates and import restrictions.

Trichlorfon is a versatile insecticide used in agriculture (vegetables, fruit trees, rice), aquaculture (parasite control in fish ponds), and public health (fly and mosquito control). For aquaculture, high-purity 90% Crystal is preferred for its rapid solubility. For large-scale farming, 80% SP offers a balance between cost-efficiency and ease of mixing. The price will fluctuate based on the concentration of the active ingredient and the additives used for stabilization.

Trichlorfon is hygroscopic and sensitive to heat. It must be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse away from alkaline substances. Standard export packaging includes 25kg fiber drums or 1kg aluminum foil bags for retail. Because it is classified as a Class 6.1 Toxic Substance under IMDG codes, specialized hazardous goods packaging and labeling are mandatory, which increases the logistics and handling costs compared to non-hazardous cargo.

The price of Trichlorfon is highly sensitive to the cost of raw materials like phosphorus trichloride and chloral. To secure stable pricing, buyers should consider long-term supply contracts or bulk purchasing during the off-season. Utilizing Made-in-China.com’s Diamond Members or Audited Suppliers ensures you are dealing with manufacturers who have stable production capacities and can honor price quotes despite market fluctuations.

Always use Secure Payment services to protect your funds until the goods are shipped. Given the hazardous nature of the product, it is vital to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This verifies that the chemical composition matches the COA and that the hazardous goods packaging meets international maritime standards to avoid port rejection.

Trichlorfon is categorized as UN 2783 (Organophosphorus pesticides, solid, toxic). You must ensure the supplier provides a Dangerous Goods (DG) Declaration. When shipping, choose a freight forwarder experienced in Class 6.1 hazardous materials. Ensure the vessel is equipped for temperature-controlled or moisture-proof stowage, as degradation of the product during transit can lead to reduced efficacy and financial loss.

For Trichlorfon, the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is typically 500kg to 1 ton for technical grades. When negotiating, ask for tiered pricing based on volume—discounts of 5-10% are common for full container loads (FCL). If you require customized retail packaging (OEM) with specific languages or branding, expect a higher MOQ and a lead time extension of 7-14 days for label printing and compliance verification.
