Used concrete mixer manufacturers

When sourcing a used concrete mixer, you must prioritize the drum capacity (measured in cubic meters) and the engine condition. For truck-mounted mixers, verify the chassis brand (e.g., Howo, Isuzu, Shacman) and the mileage. Crucially, inspect the hydraulic pump, motor, and reducer, as these are the most expensive components to repair. Ensure the mixing blades have sufficient thickness and are not excessively worn, as thin blades significantly reduce mixing efficiency.

Request a live video demonstration showing the drum rotating in both charging and discharging directions at various speeds. Ask for close-up photos of the hydraulic system for leaks and the internal drum condition to check for hardened concrete buildup. A professional supplier on Made-in-China.com should provide a third-party inspection report (such as SGS or BV) and a maintenance log detailing recent part replacements.

The equipment should ideally adhere to ISO 9001 quality management standards. For specific markets, check for CE marking (Europe) or EPA emission standards (USA) if the engine is diesel-powered. Ensure the safety guards, emergency stop buttons, and pressure valves are fully operational. It is also vital to confirm the original manufacturing year to ensure the machine has not exceeded its structural fatigue life.

For large-scale infrastructure projects, a truck-mounted mixer (6-12m³) is essential for mobility. For localized construction sites with limited space, a self-loading concrete mixer or a stationary drum mixer may be more cost-effective. If the project involves high-strength concrete, ensure the mixer has a high-torque hydraulic system capable of handling low-slump mixtures without stalling.

The biggest risks include hidden mechanical defects, non-compliance with local emission laws, and high shipping costs. To mitigate these, always use Secure Payment services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after shipping documents are verified. Additionally, confirm that the HS Code (typically 8474310000) is correct to avoid customs delays and unexpected tariffs.

Negotiate for a comprehensive refurbishment package, including new tires, a fresh coat of anti-corrosion paint, and the replacement of all filters and hydraulic oils before shipment. Demand a warranty period (typically 3-6 months) on core components like the engine and pump. For bulk orders, leverage the FOB (Free On Board) incoterm to maintain control over international freight costs and insurance.

Used mixers are typically shipped via Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels or Flat Rack containers. Ensure the supplier performs waxing or anti-rust treatment on the exterior to prevent saltwater corrosion during sea transit. Verify that the supplier provides all necessary export clearance documents, including the Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin to facilitate smooth entry into your country.
