Wholesale hello kitty charms manufacturers

When sourcing charms, the material determines both durability and price point. Zinc Alloy is the most common for budget-friendly wholesale, often featuring Enamel or Epoxy coatings for color. For high-end jewelry lines, prioritize 925 Sterling Silver or Stainless Steel with PVD Gold Plating to ensure the product is tarnish-resistant and hypoallergenic (Nickel-free and Lead-free).

Since these items are often used in children's accessories, compliance is critical. Ensure the supplier provides ASTM F963 or EN71 certification for toy safety. For the US market, products must comply with CPSIA regulations regarding lead and phthalate content. Always request a ROHS report to verify the absence of hazardous substances in the metal and pigments.

Check the jump ring or lobster clasp quality; it should be securely soldered to prevent loss. For 3D charms, verify the mold precision to ensure the character's features (eyes, bow, whiskers) are sharp and not blurred. If purchasing PVC or Silicone charms (common for Croc-style shoes), ensure the back button is heat-pressed rather than just glued for better longevity.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You can request custom backing cards with your brand logo, specific Pantone color matching for the enamel, or even engraved logos on the back of the metal charms. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) for custom designs typically range from 500 to 1,000 pieces per design.

Hello Kitty is a registered trademark of Sanrio. To avoid customs seizure or legal issues, you must ensure the supplier holds a valid manufacturing license or that you have the Letter of Authorization (LOA) to sell these branded goods in your target region. Importing 'knock-offs' can lead to heavy fines and the destruction of goods at the border.

Do not negotiate on price alone, as this often leads to suppliers using cheaper, toxic alloys. Instead, negotiate based on volume tiers (e.g., 1k, 5k, 10k units) and ask for pre-production samples. Use Trade Messenger on Made-in-China.com to document all technical requirements, ensuring you have a paper trail if the final bulk order deviates from the approved sample.

Charms are small and high-density, making them ideal for Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) which takes 3-7 days. For larger wholesale volumes, consider Air Freight to a local airport to save 20-30% compared to express couriers. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum packaging or anti-tarnish strips inside the polybags to prevent oxidation during humid sea or air transit.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until the goods are shipped. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts. For large orders, follow a 30/70 payment structure: 30% deposit to start production and the remaining 70% after a third-party inspection (like SGS or V-Trust) confirms the quality before the balance is paid.
