Wholesale paper soap manufacturers

When evaluating paper soap, focus on solubility and residue-free performance. High-quality paper soap should dissolve completely in under 15 seconds in both cold and warm water. Ensure the thickness is consistent (typically 0.05mm to 0.1mm) to prevent clumping. For B2B buyers, prioritize products using biodegradable cellulose or starch-based carriers and skin-friendly surfactants like Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate to ensure a premium user experience.

As a cosmetic/hygiene product, paper soap must meet strict safety standards. You should verify MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for shipping safety and GMPC (Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics) for production quality. For the US market, ensure FDA registration and compliance with the MoCRA regulations; for the EU, products must have a CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Report) and be registered on the CPNP portal. Always request ISO 22716 certification from the manufacturer.

Request third-party lab reports (such as SGS or Intertek) verifying an antibacterial rate of ≥99.9% against common pathogens like E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Regarding fragrance, ensure the supplier uses IFRA-compliant essential oils or synthetic fragrances to avoid skin irritation. For wholesale orders, it is recommended to request stability testing reports to ensure the scent does not fade during long-term storage or transit.

Paper soap is highly sensitive to humidity. Ensure the primary packaging is moisture-proof, such as PP plastic cases with tight seals or aluminum foil pouches. For eco-conscious brands, look for FSC-certified paper boxes with an internal moisture barrier. For wholesale, ensure the outer cartons are double-walled (K=K) to prevent crushing during sea freight, as damaged packaging significantly reduces retail value.

Moisture is the biggest threat to paper soap. You should stipulate in the contract that the supplier must include silica gel desiccant packets in every master carton. Furthermore, request palletization with shrink-wrap to provide an extra layer of protection against humid sea air. For high-value orders, consider inspection services at the loading port to verify container dryness.

Focus on tiered pricing based on volume; typically, a 10%–20% price reduction is achievable when moving from 5,000 to 50,000 units. Negotiate for customized tooling costs (for unique case shapes) to be waived if the order exceeds a certain value. Always ask for OEM/ODM samples before placing a deposit to confirm that the foaming density and scent profile align with your brand standards.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until shipping documents are verified. Never pay 100% upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is the industry norm. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the HS Code (typically 340120) to avoid customs classification disputes.

Paper soap contains surfactants, which some carriers classify as 'sensitive goods.' Ensure your supplier provides a Non-Hazardous Cargo Declaration and a Transport of Goods Safety Certificate. For shipping to the US or Europe, work with a freight forwarder experienced in cosmetic imports to navigate Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or EU Customs requirements regarding ingredient labeling and country-of-origin markings.
