Wiper fan motor manufacturers

When evaluating a Wiper Fan Motor, you must prioritize Voltage compatibility (typically 12V or 24V) to match the vehicle's electrical system. Key performance metrics include Torque output, which ensures the motor can move wipers against heavy rain or snow, and Rotational Speed (RPM) for consistent clearing. Additionally, check for IP66 or IP67 waterproof ratings to ensure the motor survives harsh environmental exposure, and verify the use of high-quality copper windings for better heat dissipation and longevity.

For B2B buyers, ensuring the supplier holds ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 certification is critical, as these are the global standards for automotive quality management systems. Depending on the target market, products should also meet CE marking (Europe), E-Mark (ECE regulations), or DOT standards (USA). Furthermore, ensure the materials comply with RoHS and REACH to avoid hazardous substance restrictions during customs clearance.

Request a Salt Spray Test report to confirm corrosion resistance and a Life Cycle Test report (aim for at least 1,500,000 wipe cycles). To ensure user comfort, the Noise Level should be below 50-60 dB. It is highly recommended to order a functional sample to test the motor under load conditions and check for smooth gear transitions and minimal vibration.

A professional supplier should offer OEM/ODM services, specifically regarding mounting bracket configurations, shaft lengths, and wiring harness connectors. Ensure the supplier can provide CAD drawings or 3D models for technical alignment before production to prevent installation issues in the final assembly.

Utilize Secured Payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon confirmation of shipment. Always conduct a Third-Party Factory Audit to verify the supplier's production capacity and legitimacy. For high-value orders, consider Product Inspection services (Pre-Shipment Inspection) to catch defects before the goods leave the factory.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for tiered pricing based on annual volume commitments and ask for a warranty period of at least 12-24 months. You can also negotiate for spare parts (1-2% extra) to be included in the shipment to cover potential DOA (Dead on Arrival) units, which reduces your after-sales overhead.

Wiper motors contain magnets, which may be classified as 'Sensitive Goods' in air freight; ensure the supplier provides a Magnetic Inspection Report if shipping by air. For sea freight, ensure the packaging includes VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) bags or desiccant packs to prevent rust during long-term exposure to sea humidity. Clearly define Incoterms (e.g., FOB or CIF) in the contract to avoid disputes over insurance and local port charges.
