Yoghurt production manufacturers

A professional yoghurt production line must integrate several key stages: Milk Reception and Standardization, Homogenization (to prevent fat separation), Pasteurization/UHT Treatment (to eliminate pathogens), Fermentation Tanks (with precise temperature control), and Automated Filling/Packaging. For B2B buyers, it is critical to ensure the CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) system is fully integrated to maintain high hygiene standards without dismantling the equipment.

All surfaces in contact with the product must be made of Food-Grade Stainless Steel (SUS304 or SUS316L) to prevent corrosion and contamination. Buyers should verify compliance with ISO 9001, CE certification, and 3-A Sanitary Standards or EHEDG guidelines. These certifications ensure the machinery meets international safety and hygiene requirements for food production.

The production line must be configured based on the desired output: Set Yoghurt (fermented in the retail container) or Stirred Yoghurt (fermented in bulk tanks and then cooled/packaged). Ensure the supplier provides high-precision PLC control systems (such as Siemens or Omron) to manage incubation temperatures within a ±0.5°C variance, as temperature stability is vital for culture activity and texture consistency.

Beyond the machinery, buyers must account for Steam Generation (for heating/sterilization), Chilled Water Systems (for rapid cooling after fermentation), and Compressed Air (for pneumatic valve operation). It is recommended to request a Total Power Consumption analysis from the supplier to ensure your facility's electrical infrastructure can handle the peak load.

Prioritize suppliers on Made-in-China.com that hold the Audited Supplier status. Request a Factory Audit Report and check for specific experience in exporting food-grade machinery. It is highly recommended to conduct a Video Inspection of the factory's assembly line and request FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) records before the final balance payment.

The primary risks include corrosion from sea air and mechanical damage during transit. Ensure the contract specifies Vacuum Packaging and Anti-Rust Coating for all carbon steel parts, and that the machinery is secured in Reinforced Wooden Crates (IPPC certified). Always insist on CIF terms with comprehensive Marine Insurance to cover potential losses during loading or shipping.

Since these lines require professional calibration, negotiate for Remote Technical Support via AR/Video or the dispatch of On-site Engineers for commissioning. Ensure the supplier provides a Detailed Spare Parts List (covering 2 years of operation) and English-language Operation Manuals. Define the Warranty Period (typically 12-24 months) clearly in the sales contract, specifying that critical components like motors and PLCs are covered.

Use Secure Payment Methods such as Letters of Credit (L/C) or escrow-type services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com. Avoid 100% upfront payments; a standard industry structure is 30% deposit, 60% after successful FAT/before shipment, and 10% after installation/commissioning at your facility.
