Yogurt ice cream manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize production capacity (L/h) and cooling speed. For high-traffic areas, look for machines with a capacity of 25-40 liters per hour. Ensure the unit features a high-quality compressor (e.g., Embraco or Tecumseh) for stable temperature control. Additionally, pre-cooling and standby functions are essential to keep the yogurt mix fresh overnight and reduce bacterial growth.

For machinery, ensure CE, ETL, or UL certification to meet international electrical safety standards. For the yogurt powder or liquid mix, suppliers must provide HACCP, ISO 22000, or FDA registration documents. It is vital to verify that the ingredients comply with local food additive regulations, specifically regarding stabilizers and sweeteners.

Overrun refers to the amount of air pumped into the ice cream during freezing. A professional machine should offer an adjustable overrun rate between 30% and 60%. A higher overrun creates a lighter, fluffier texture and increases profit margins by expanding the volume, while a lower overrun results in a denser, premium gelato-style yogurt.

Look for machines with a one-touch self-cleaning function. However, manual deep cleaning of the beater, hopper, and dispensing valves must be performed daily to prevent milk stone buildup. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed O&M manual and a kit of food-grade lubricant for the O-rings to prevent leaks.

The main risks include voltage incompatibility and refrigerant restrictions. Always specify your country's voltage (e.g., 110V/60Hz or 220V/50Hz) before production. Furthermore, ensure the refrigerant used (e.g., R404a or R290) is permitted in your region, as some older refrigerants are banned in the EU and US due to environmental policies.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. Always request a Third-Party Inspection (such as SGS or BV) before the final balance payment to verify that the machine's cooling performance and material (SUS304 stainless steel) meet the agreed specifications.

Machinery should be shipped via Sea Freight with solid wooden crate packaging to prevent structural damage. For yogurt powder, ensure it is shipped in a cool, dry container; if you are importing liquid mix, you must use Reefer Containers (refrigerated) to maintain a constant temperature of 2-4°C throughout the transit to prevent spoilage.

Negotiate for a 1-2 year warranty on the compressor and request a wearing parts kit (O-rings, gaskets, and scrapers) to be included for free with the initial order. Confirm if the supplier can provide video technical support or has local service partners in your country to minimize downtime during peak seasons.
