B2B buyers must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, which is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. It is critical to verify that the products are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and latex-free. For international markets, suppliers should provide RoHS and REACH certifications to ensure no hazardous substances are present in the materials or electronic components.

Look for motors that offer multiple vibration modes (at least 7-10 patterns) and adjustable intensities. The noise level should ideally be below 50dB for discreet use. Regarding power, prioritize USB magnetic charging over disposable batteries, with a battery capacity of at least 500mAh, providing a continuous runtime of 60-90 minutes on a full charge.

The industry standard for high-quality adult toys is IPX7 waterproof rating, which allows the device to be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. This is essential not only for usage scenarios like the shower but also for hygienic cleaning and sterilization after use.

Since these products contain electronic components and batteries, they must carry CE (Europe) and FCC (USA) markings. Additionally, for products containing lithium batteries, a UN38.3 test report and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) are mandatory for international shipping and customs clearance.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency. Focus on seam integrity (to prevent fluid ingress) and battery stability. Using platforms like Made-in-China.com allows you to select Audited Suppliers, reducing the risk of receiving sub-standard or counterfeit goods.

To avoid customs delays and protect consumer privacy, ensure the supplier uses neutral, unbranded outer packaging. The shipping manifest should use generic descriptions such as 'Massager' or 'Silicone Crafts'. Confirm that the supplier is experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) shipping if the products have built-in lithium batteries.

For orders exceeding 1,000 units, negotiate for customized mold ownership or exclusive regional designs. Aim for a payment structure of 30% deposit and 70% balance after inspection but before shipment. Ask for a 1-2% defect allowance or spare units to be included in the shipment to cover potential DOA (Dead on Arrival) items.

Regulations vary significantly; for example, some regions have strict decency laws regarding product imagery on packaging. Ensure your supplier can provide localized user manuals and compliant labeling that meets the specific consumer safety warnings required in your target country.
